I would like to share a few beautiful memories of my Nana’s little sister, whom I very lovingly call ‘Small Nana’. Small Nana was such a lovely and kind person. She was stern, but very loving and caring all the same time. She had so much love to share with everybody. I would say, that she dearly loved me, and my cousins Avin, Amri, Ashvin and Aravinth equally, because she was fair and just. She was like a shining bright star with a beautiful smile. She lit up everyone around her. I will always remember her beautiful warm welcoming smile greeting me and welcoming me into her home. She was always able to make me smile with her loving and witty comments, even when I was sad. I always loved to visit her, because I knew she would always have my favorite biscuits and juice for me. Since Small Nana was a teacher in Dubai, she was able to help me in my school projects, which I could proudly say won me many awards. She always had encouraging words of advice for me and my cousins and taught us right from wrong. I would give her 5 ‘golden’ stars for it! Small nana loved to cook and bake and she was very good at it too! everyone enjoyed her food. A few weeks ago, she even baked a lovely pink cake especially for me, and it was the best tasting cake ever, because it had an extra measure of love in it. She was such a wonderful person. I know she is with Jesus now and not in pain anymore. My mummy says she is an Angel now, and she is watching over us. So I should be happy. My darling Small Nana, nothing can ever fill the empty space you have left behind. Your beautiful smiling, cheerful face will always be in my heart.
